Classes Tailor Made for All Needs
Learn Art Melbourne offers a variety of art classes including painting, drawing and folio preparation. All classes are for beginners or advanced students. Each student is given assistance on an individual basis whilst benefiting from the stimulus and atmosphere of working in a small group.
The cost is $38 per session, $380 for an average 10 week term. All classes run during school terms.
While some materials will be supplied, each student is required to bring their own art materials. A materials list will be given on enrolment.

Painting
The painting classes are for beginners or advanced students. Each student is given assistance on an individual basis whilst benefiting from the stimulus and atmosphere of working in a small group of painters. In the class each student works on their own program to develop their skills in whichever medium they choose, watercolour, acrylic or oils. All styles of painting are catered for and special programs are worked out with each individual to suit, whether they are experienced or beginners.

Drawing
This class focuses on the art and technique of drawing, covering areas such as perspective, figure drawing, rendering, mixed media and portraiture. These are directed classes where the students are taken step by step through each technique.

Illustration
In illustration class we cover a variety of styles and techniques of drawing, illustration and graphic work. The course covers techniques such as watercolour, airbrush, pencil rendering, collage and many more. Each student is assisted with story and character development, concept and story boarding and design and layout.

Kids Classes
The Kids class is suitable to all students from 10-18. It is intended to give each student exposure to a variety of skills and techniques. The students are taught painting and drawing in a variety of mediums in a nurturing environment. Senior students can be given assistance with VCE Art, Studio Art and Vis Com work as well as folio preparation for Uni interviews.

Folio Preparation
These classes are for students who are studying year 11 or 12 Art or Studio Art, or who are wishing to put together a folio to get into an art course. Students are given assistance with developing themes and directions for their folio, assistance with the development work and direction and assistance with the final pieces for the year 12 folio. Most students who have worked with me in the past have received an HD standard in their folio. If students are wishing to put together a folio for art school admission I can assist with the areas and elements needed for a successful folio.
